Dear Sponsors and Friends,
Sorry for the late posting. It has been quite a week of travel back to the states. I am now in Ohio visiting family. As most of you may know by now, I had a rough go at Ironman WA. I had the best swim time of my career (58 min - see above!) and a bike PR by 12 minutes but during the run, I came down with the flu and was forced to drop out of the race. Although it was a bit of a disappointment I am extremely optimistic for 2008. Many thanks to all of those who made this race possible including Dan Wimsatt of aAd Capital Management LP (www.aadcapital.com) and training partners Tom and Garrett who dragged me around the pool for the last month before the race.
