I started swimming when I was a little kid in Columbus, Ohio. I am a High School All-American, 5 time NCAA All-American in swimming, rowed 2 years of varsity crew in college…Spent 4 years as an amateur triathlete while working full-time…Turned professional in 2005…2 top 10 Ironman performances (6th place IM Malaysia 2006, 10th place IM Western Australia 2005), 3rd at ITU Long Distnace Pan-American Games 2006, 20th place at ITU Long Distnace World Championships 2006. Currently ranked 8th in the world for ITU Long Distance. In addition to being a professional triathlete, I work as a personal trainer, triathlon, swim, bike, and run coach, and am the assistant swim coach for Escondido Swim Club.
